I remember being interested solar power even as a young teenager when I was given a solar energy kit. It consisted of a small solar panel, and a motor and lightbulb that could work when the panel was in a decent amount of sunlight. I remember building a windmill out of lego and attaching the motor to the sails. When the sun was out the sails would turn and I was damn well delighted. So a few decades later (and some) its very pleasing to see some larger panels adorn the back of the roof. Well worth the wait.
